Aircraft Door & Hatch Seals

Aircraft door and hatch seals typically are fabric reinforced silicone bulb or lip seals, similar in construction to aerodynamic seals, but usually have a lower operating temperature requirement and seal a pressure differential.

Recommended reinforcement fabrics include polyester and nylon. Fabrics can be molded as a cover or embedded in the surface of the seal.

Strips can be spliced into various assemblies to conform to any door or hatch shape.
